    I purchased the SMG software based on reviews I saw on the forums. Form what it sounded like this was slightly better than going to CSL SMG software. The transaction was straightforward and install is less than 5 minutes once you get the SMG unit back. In manual mode, the change is subtle but noticeable. Upshifts are a smidge faster as well as the down shifts. The car does not seem to throttle blimp as much but in honesty I am only paying attention to it when driving in town. When “spirited” driving in mode 5 I am not really paying attention. Based on around 500 miles on the time of this review the change seems to be worth it. You will notice the biggest changes in auto mode where mode 5 does not shift until you are way into the rev range. Mode 4 is what the old mode 5 would be.
